Bidding start date: 2 June 2023 

Bidding closure date: 19 June 2023 11:00 a.m. 

The vehicle is located in the UN House parking place at b. 9, Leontyevsky lane, Moscow and can be inspected in the period of 2–16 June 2023 after preliminary phone call and agreed time of visit (except Saturdays and Sundays). 

Bids for the vehicle should be forwarded to Bids@unaids.org with subject line: “Sale of car UNAIDS EECA” indicating the item description, the amount of their offer which must be the same or higher than the base price. 

 Conditions of bidding and sale: 

• The bids shall contain the offered price in Rubles, bidder’s first and last name and contact information. Late bids shall not be considered. 

• The sale will be made to the highest bidder. 

• The costs related to the deregistration process of the vehicle will be borne by UNAIDS Office and all costs related to registration or transfer of title will be borne by the buyer. 

• The car has diplomatic registration under United Nations Office in the Russian Federation which will be removed immediately after sale. 

• Payment shall be made by bank transfer in Russian Rubles or US Dollars against the applicable UN exchange rate (https://treasury.un.org/operationalrates/OperationalRates.php). Once the bidder is announced, the buyer must pay the full amount within 5 working days. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the offer and the purchase opportunity will be offered to the next highest bidder. Additional payment instructions will be provided to the winners of the tender. Payment and receipt of the vehicle shall be done within 5 working days following the announcement of the winners. 

• The vehicle shall be handed over only upon payment of full bid price. 

• The buyers agree that the vehicle is sold “as is, where is”, in their present technical state without any written guarantees. 

• The sold vehicle is not subject to return or exchange. 

• UNAIDS shall not bear the responsibility for any repairs or any other service charges of the sold vehicle. 

• The buyer shall bear all related transportation and insurance costs of the sold vehicle. 

• The buyer shall bear full responsibility for any issues related to local legislation regarding the eligibility of the buyer and his/her possibility to register the former UN vehicles in their own name and any charges related to the new registration. 

• Only the winners of the tender who suggest the best prices will be contacted.
